Hyundai to demonstrate hidden innovations at the upcoming Johannesburg International Motor Show

Visitors can expect a lot at Hyundai Automotive South Africa’s display at the Johannesburg International motor Show. Hyundai will be giving visitors the opportunity to really explore the brand, by demonstrating a number of hidden innovations that may not be known about Hyundai vehicles, directly from its stand.

“To capture the attention of consumers attending JIMS, we understand that we need to be innovative in our approach and really demonstrate what sets Hyundai apart from everyone,” says Albrecht Grundel, operations director at Hyundai Automotive South Africa. “Certainly our vehicles do this by themselves already, but this year we are really shaking things up by introducing an accesorized Santa Fe, as well as an interactive consumer competition and, for the first time ever, our range of genuine Hyundai Accessories will be on display.”

Consumers planning on visiting the Hyundai stand this year are able to register for an RFID tag via Facebook; on the Hyundai website www.hyundai.co.za or on the stand itself, where they will then be encouraged to search the stand for 5 specific hidden features within the Hyundai range. “The person who identifies all 5 features and tags them via the RFID tag stands a chance to win a weekend away in a Hyundai vehicle of their choice,” adds Grundel.

This year, Hyundai will also showcase a limited edition, once-off, customised Santa Fe. “Wrapped in a matt black finish, with custom 22” alloy wheels – there is no doubt that this will be a head-turner at the show this year.”

Furthermore, Hyundai will also be dedicating a section of the stand to Genuine Accessories. “It is a common misconception that generic accessories are used in Hyundai vehicles however, the brand is synonymous with genuine, approved Hyundai quality – making our vehicles truly Hyundai inspired,” says Grundel.

“Through our stand this year, we believe we are truly showcasing the best of Hyundai, including our commitment to quality, innovation and of course, our ability to deliver new thinking into the market. I encourage everyone to come down to the Hyundai stand between the 18 – 29 October 2013 to see some of the vehicles on display and interact with us, as never before,” concludes Grundel.
